In a wooded park of 7000m2 with an orchard, we will be pleased to welcome you to our 18th century Charente house, the former residence of the steward of the "disappeared" castle of Saint-Jean-d'Angély.
We are ideally located 5 minutes from the A10 highway, both close to the Atlantic coast: La Rochelle, Rochefort, La Palmyre, ….heritage towns steeped in history such as Cognac, Saintes, Aulnay-de-Saintonge... not to mention natural sites such as the Poitevin marshes.
The house, close to the banks of the Boutonne, is just a few minutes from the town center and 250 m from the road to Santiago de Compostela. You can discover the Clock Tower, the Abbey Church, its 2 museums, … and its many restaurants!
